Air suspension
Most of the models in the Volvo FH range are equopped with either rear or full Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECS), giving you high comfort and protecting your cargo. The system automatically adjusts itself so that the truck remains at a constant ride height and ensures a road and load-friendly ride.

Manual height control makes it easier to adjust the load platform's height to match that of the cargo bay. Switching of demount bodies and/or semi-trailers is faster and you can easily adjust platfor height to match the height of a loading bay.

Leaf springs
The Volvo FM can be fitted with leaf springs of parabolic or conventional type. Conventional leaf springs are used on constructionor heavy haulage trucks, for good stability and when high axle weights can be expected.
